| At the age of 23, Arreed Franz Barabasz, Ed.D, PhD, ABPP completed his first doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology at State University of New York at Albany. His PhD in Clinical and Human Experimental Psychology is from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand where he conducted the first studies of EEG and Hypnosis in Antarctica. His post-doctoral Clinical Fellowship was at Massachusetts General Hospital & Harvard Medical School. Currently, he is the Editor of the International journal of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis (IJCEH) (the highest-ranking journal in the field) and a full professor in the College of Education at Washington State University.
